Childhood Nickname:

Erikson (inventive, I know)

Favorite band when you were in middle school:

Sum 41

What is the weirdest quirk about your partner?

She’s obsessed with Coors Banquet (aka Coors Heavy) and no one really knows why. It’s great though because I also like cheap-ish American lagers, and everyone knows about how much Michelle loves Coors, so there is usually at least one six pack at most of the parties we go to. Win!

What is your hidden talent?

It will take a LOT of alcohol for this to come out in front of anyone, but I’m pretty good at doing voices, particularly if I’m making up a voice and persona for an animal that can’t otherwise talk. #weirdo

Does extraterrestrial life exist?

ET is offended by this question.

What is your perfect MTrek Day?

August 19. It’s not too hot, not too cold. All you need is shorts and a t-shirt. Kidding. First, we wake up in paradise, over a hot cup of coffee or six. Then, grab the hiking shoes, because we’re trekking to the top of a volcano. Afterwards, relax by hopping in the ocean for a swim to cool off after the hot hike before dinner.

Favorite place you’ve traveled to:

Glacier National Park, Montana

How would your partner describe you:

2 parts adventure, 2 parts kindness, 1 part practicality, a dash of rowdiness, shaken vigorously

At which store would you max out your credit card?

REI, duh

What are your pet peeves?

People who drive in the left lane without actively passing someone.

If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Peanut butter, literally straight out of the jar

Favorite thing about Ross:

The incredible community of people we’ve gotten to know. Everyone is super smart and accomplished, but also humble and real.

Anything else we should know?

Most of this MTrek leaders crew went on an MTrek together last year, and it was an amazing opportunity to make great friends and lasting memories – all before school started. We hope you have the same experience too, and we’ll do our best to facilitate that!
