You read it right, it’s going down in Cape Town! Buckle up, this trip is not for the fainthearted. Consider this your formal invitation to earning your ROSSsafarian stripes. There is no better way to kick off your MBA experience than journeying with the dopest Trek Leaders through the Western Cape of Africa.

As if two years in the Big 10 isn’t enough, you’ll experience an overnight Safari with Africa’s Big 5. Don’t worry we’re keeping it Bad & Bougie too. From the beach house to the cooking class, we will make sure there is enough South African wine to go around. Need we say more?

(Trek cost includes lodging; overnight safari; Robbin Island tour; Table Mountain cable car ride; winery tour and tasting in Stellanbosch; cooking class; whale watching in Hermanus; Belmond Tea Time; traditional South African Braai and most meals)

Day 1 — Friday, Aug 18

Depart USA/Travel Day – And we’re off! It’s a longggggggg trip, get some rest on the flight it will come in handy later!

Day 2 — Saturday, Aug 19

Welcome! You made it – today will be chill, plan to arrive late evening. Meet the Trek Leaders and then crash for the night. We suggest you catch up on some zzzz’s because once we kick-off the fun don’t stop!

Day 3 — Sunday, Aug 20

Wake up, grub, and then we’re off! Today we get our bearings in Cape Town. We will be touring the Cape Peninsula, exploring coastal towns, and visiting Cape Point and the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Oh yeah, penguins!

Day 4 — Monday, Aug 21

Taking it to the top! We head out to Table Mountain and take the cable car up the mountain (or hike if that’s your thing), before returning down and making our way towards Worcester. Yes, that means it’s Safari time! We will venture out on an afternoon game drive.

Day 5 — Tuesday, Aug 22

Up early, we venture out on a morning game drive before making our way back to the coast. Our destination is Hermanus. Also referred to as the Riviera of the South, it has wondrous beach settings, quaint fisherman’s cottages and unspoilt natural beauty. And did we mention whale watching?

Day 6 — Wednesday, Aug 23

Day at leisure, to partake in various optional activities or just relax on the beach. We will have an amazing group dinner, traditional West Coast braai style.

Day 7 — Thursday, Aug 24

We make our way back to Cape Town this morning, arriving in time for a Robben Island tour. The rest of the day is yours, but save your energy for a casual bar crawl on long street!

Day 8 — Friday, Aug 25

Today is spent exploring and tasting the produce of the pristine wine areas of South Africa on an epic wine tour. Tonight is at leisure to explore the night life of Cape Town. In other words, let’s PARTY!

Day 9 — Saturday, Aug 26

Today is spent at leisure to explore more of Cape Town. In the early evening we will go to the BoKaap for a short cooking class before having a home cooked Cape Malay dinner. After dinner, the turn up in Cape Town continues

Day 10 — Sunday, Aug 27

Tea anyone? Last night was bad, this morning we get bougie. We head to Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel for a pinkies up tea time experience. The rest of the evening is open for you to explore the night life of Long and Bree street.

Day 11 — Monday, Aug 28

We kick off our last day on the beach for a fantastic sunrise, before last minute souvenir shopping. Before our afternoon departure, know that you’ll have officially earned your RossSafarian Stripes.
