First, we will head to the Cherry Capital of The US, Traverse City, to see what it has to offer. While there, we will go to Sleeping Bear Dunes to get a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan. Next, we will head to Mackinac Island, which is famous for its fudge, car-free streets, and horse carriages. Last, we will head up to the Upper Peninsula to visit the famous sites of Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, and Kitch-iti-kipi. Don’t miss this opportunity as summer is the best time to explore Michigan.

Why should you join my trek?
This is the perfect trip for anyone looking to stay in the US and/or relax before the craziness of Ross! I visited Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula last year and fell in love and want to share this experience with y’all. Get ready for some hiking (not too intense!), bonding, good views, and more!

A little about me: I’m Shivanee (she/her/hers). I am a dual degree MBA/MS in Sustainability (aka Erber). I love to cook new cuisines, watch TV/movies (ask me about my thoughts on The Traitors), and read. I am an ice cream addict, who dangerously lives only a 5-minute walk to three creameries. On campus, I am involved with Out for Business, Michigan Marketing Club, and Erb SAB. I don’t graduate until May 2026 so we will have the joy of recruiting together!
