Trek Description:

Get ready for the ultimate Greek bash. We’ll start with experiencing everything Athens has to offer, from historical sites like the Acropolis to the trendy neighborhood of Psyrri. After we’ve conquered the city, it’s time to jet to Crete on the 19th, where we’ll hit up jaw-dropping beaches and start tearing it up all over the island.
It only gets better from here. We’re talking a full day of chilling on a yacht, diving into the bluest waters, and snorkeling. Next up, swig some fine vino at Dourakis Winery and soak in the old-world charm of Chania.
Saving the best for last, we’ll drop jaws at Gramvousa Island and Balos Lagoon, because if it’s not on Insta, did it even happen? We’ll fly back from this mix of strategic sightseeing and island vibes and return not just with stories, but a masterclass in balancing history with epic good times.

Day 1 — Thursday, Aug 17

Post-MBA plans: Product Management – Sports/Entertainment Tech

Why should you join my trek?
This is the trip for the island kings & queens who love a sparkler in the club & a rooftop bar but also need some historical sites & an occassional nap.

Olivia’s top three reasons to come to Greece:
1) As the Chief Vibes Officer of Ross (re: Follies, Entertainment Club, Bus SME), you are pretty much gauranteed a week of free standup & good laughs
2) Crete is the biggest island in Greece with tons to do & was highly recommended by all (two) of my Greek friends
3) Not only are we the coolest group of leaders but one of the most involved across social, affinity, and professsional clubs & interests – We will make sure you’re in good hands before your first day of class at the best bschool in the country

Post-MBA plans: HealthTech VC

Why should you join my trek?
Want to learn about Greek philosophy so you can live your “you know how to ball, I know Aristotle” dreams while partying on boats in the middle of the Mediterranean? This is the trip for you.

Kayla’s top three reasons to come to Greece:
1) Something about starting off your MBA career by going to Greece to party and chill is just….poetic.
2) Were you also obsessed with Percy Jackson in middle school? No further explanation needed.
3) Our group of leaders might be the biggest slay / main reason to join – you’re guaranteed to have the best time with us and we can’t wait to meet you!!!

Tiffany Lee

Hometown: Los Angeles, CA
Undergrad: UC San Diego
Pre-MBA life: Public Utilities Consulting
Post-MBA plans: something something “sustainable” at the intersection of real estate/VC (if it exists)

Why should you join my trek?
Greece has obviously been on your bucket list and this is going to be Sick with a capital “S”. You can tell all your friends Mykonos and Santorini are overrated and too touristy so you opted for a ~real~ Greece experience (that still includes crystal clear turquoise water, aesthetic seaside towns, and beach clubs).

Tiff’s top three reasons to come to Greece:
1) It’s not a vacation if you don’t go on a boat
2) We objectively have the coolest group of leaders
3) I am a great phone photographer for all your ig needs

Shivali Rao

Hometown: Carmel, IN
Undergrad: Purdue University
Pre-MBA life: Strategy Consultant
Post-MBA plans: Climate Tech Venture Capital

Why should you join my trek?
Have you been dreaming of a quiet, relaxing getaway before starting school? Well this isn’t the trip for you. In true Ross fashion, this trip will be a balance between meeting people, experiencing new things, and having blast dancing, drinking, and vibing through Greece.

Shivali’s top three reasons to come to Greece:
1) Greece is beautiful so what’s better than spending a week in Greece right before spending the next 8 months in Michigan??
2) Literaly could not ask for a better group of leaders – not to toot my own horn but we’re awesome, fun, and can’t wait to meet the new class of MBAs!!
3) Need I say more?? See reasons 1 and 2 above
