Since 2013, the groundbreaking MYSTERY MTrek has been in search of the No-No Zone. MYSTERY 3.0 was last year’s sequel and the training ground where Dana and Meghan failed to reach the zone but collected valuable data used in this year’s search. What is the No-No Zone? The No-No Zone is a special place. Some cultures call it Valhalla others prefer Zion among other names. This year another (sacrificial) team of five brave MBA2s have determined to eschew the corporate 9 – 5 and find the No-No Zone. Whether you choose this venture is your choice, however, once committed understand that we will stop at nothing in locating the No-No Zone. In our search we are promising continental travel, ancient cities, boatloads of culture, further, boatloads of boat trips, and enough memories to bore the hell out of your section’s GroupMe. Armed with Ross’ elite, a “can-rage” attitude, and your help our expedition may uncover mysteries and much more.
**Note: Due to the mysterious nature of this trek, we have to purchase your plane tickets for you, so the trek price includes airfare. Dinners as well as some breakfasts and lunches are included on this trek.**

Does the prospect of spending a week in the Balkans hopping coastal cities, sailing, snorkeling, taking in the culture, hiking incredible landscapes, eating amazing meals and of course raging your face off excite you? Yeah, us too. We will take you through 2 countries and 6 cities in Croatia and Slovenia experiencing some of the most ridiculous nightlife and outrageously beautiful photo ops the world has to offer. Your five esteemed trek leaders all met a year ago on their trip to Malaysia where they learned way too much about each other and still miraculously became close friends. This mojo will be the secret sauce we apply in the Balkans to ensure that you make at least 2 lifelong friends, or your money back guaranteed. As your leaders, we also promise to be exceptionally entertaining at the risk of our own self-respect.
You’ve killed it on the GMAT and passed the infamous Ross group interview – now it’s time to celebrate becoming a student again! We’ll be having a once (till you lead a trek next year)-in-a-lifetime experience through Eastern Europe to enjoy the culture, food and nightlife. We’ll utilize Michigan’s Action Based Learning approach in exploring Vienna’s music scene before jetting (or busing) off to Budapest and finishing off in Belgrade! Unique experiences, new skills and fun times will be had via bicycle tours, visiting local breweries, and bonding with your group of MBA2 leaders. With a unique combination of backgrounds and skills in every MBA career track (consulting, marketing, operations…), this trek will offer something fun and exciting for the new class of incoming Rossers!
Guatemala and Belize are kind of like the Netflix and Chill of MTreks – first you get hit with history, culture, and wild adventures, and then you’re ready to kick it on the beach. Get the full Central American experience walking in the footsteps of the Mayans and Spanish colonists in Guatemala, and relaxing and fiesta-ing in Belize. We start off in historic Antigua, where will explore the beautiful city and learn to salsa. Then get your heart rate pumping while hiking Pacayo Volcano and white water rafting. Discover the rich Mayan culture in Tikal and the ATM cave, minus the whole human sacrifice thing (note: your liver may be sacrificed by the end of the trip). The trip will culminate in Belize, where you can relax in the beautiful city of Caye Caulker. Here we will cruise, snorkel, kayak and/or paddleboard among the colorful corals and tropical fish, sharks, manta rays, and manatees all day, and rage all night. Leave with 11 best amigos, 100 selfies, and thousands of memories. Vamanos!
Do you love: Food? Wine? Being active? Beautiful landscapes? New friends? If you answered yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes, this is your mTrek! Our trek will take us across the French countryside via bike, with extra time in Paris and Bordeaux for a well-rounded mix of big-city culture, outdoor activity, and leisure (with some party sprinkled in). After a day in Paris to get acquainted and get acclimated, we’ll head via train to Sarlat, famous for its truffles, walnut orchards, and grapes (wine, anyone?). From Sarlat, we embark on a four-day bike heading west toward Bordeaux, through the picturesque French countryside. Along the way, we will stop each night in small villages: Les Eyzies, Bergerac, and Saint Emilion. Our biking includes picnic lunches, explorations of medieval sights, visits to vineyards, and, yes, WINE. We conclude in Bordeaux, where we bid France au revoir. This is the perfect mTrek for you — drink that wine, eat that food, and burn it all off on the bike, taking in beautiful landscapes and making new friends along the way!
How do you say “Rosé” in Spanish? Turns out it’s just Rosé, but regardless you can count on us to provide you with plenty. Last August, a group of 5 idiots made two of the best decisions of their lives – coming to Ross and choosing to go on MTrek together. Now that you’ve made the choice to come to Ross, and you can rest assured that your critical thinking skills are exceptional, why not join these 5 idiots in a test of competing livers and perfect tan curation that’ll last you through autumn in Ann Arbor. From the nightlife in Barcelona, to the stunning beaches in Mallorca and the bullring in Seville, you’ll get a full dose of what Eastern Spain has to offer – beaches, culture, mojitos, sangria, tapas, Lionel Messi, and last but certainly not least: raging. From the coast to the mountains, this group of Trek leaders can’t wait to take you on this magic carpet ride.
Hello? It’s me. I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet.
To go over everything, they say (San Blasted) is supposed to… Rock your body! Yeah, yeah. everybody, yeah, yeah. Mtrek’s back ALRIGHT!
We’ve got our toes in the water, toes in the sand
not a worry in the world, a cold beer in our hands.
And can you feel the love tonight? It is where we are. It’s enough for this wide-eyed wanderer, to…
wanna rock and roll all night and party every day!
If you threw your hands up because we’re playing your song, and the butterflies flew away (and if you understood what we were trying to do there) then you have found the partners trek you are destined for! Before moving to Ann Arbor, put your trust in us for 9 days and we promise you will have the best time of your life. Get ready to soak up the sun, zip line through the rainforest, repel down waterfalls, and have a blast exploring Costa Rica. After all the excitement of Costa Rica, imagine stepping back into a time before wifi, emails, and even *gasp* Snapchat. This, my friends, is the beauty of San Blas: a string of remote private islands that boast pristine white sand beaches and crystal clear water for snorkeling, swimming, and island hopping.
After all, what is more romantic than spending time on a remote private island with your significant other? You guessed it…spending it with a handful of your new BFFs!
Do you like motor boating? As a child, were you frustrated by the training wheels on your bike? Are you excited by the prospect of taking the best jumping pic ever? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this is the trek for you! Come join some 3rd-year Erbers (brimming with musky wisdom) on an epic journey through one of South America’s best kept secrets. Get ready to get your adrenaline fix biking down (down being the operative word) the world’s most dangerous road, snap some epic photos on the stunning salt flats, kick it with the likes of flamingos, parrots, and spider monkeys. See Copacabana (the Bolivian one, not the Brazilian one) and La Paz. The trip will culminate in a visit to the famed Lake Titicaca, which was funny in third grade, and is even funnier now. Just think how many likes you’ll get on Facebook. There will be something for everybody. We’ll rage, we’ll relax, and we’ll make friends and memories for a life time!
Does your perfect vacation involve a light sweater, a glass of wine, breathtaking scenery, rich culture, great nightlife, NO Zika and a hint of adventure? It does?! Ours too – that’s why we planned a partners trek to Chile.
Five MBAs and their partners will lead you on a trek that has something for everyone. The history buffs, the winos, the explorers – we’ve got city tours, vineyard tours, rafting excursions, and more. We’ll sip Malbec by the sea in Valparaiso, while feasting on local favorites like seafood stew and empanadas. We’ll cozy up to a campfire in the extraterrestrial landscape of the Atacama Desert, a place that hasn’t seen rain for 400 years and offers some of the best stargazing on earth. We’ll explore the vibrant history of Santiago by day, and its thriving nightlife after dark. You’ll hit up all the must-see and bucket list opportunities, with plenty of time to do some solo exploring with your partner. We promise you’ll bring home the bonds and memories to get you through the next two years.
