We’ll start our expedition in Oslo, where we’ll be taking in the sites of this irresistibly charming and eccentric city. After traveling the railroad past alpine lakes and ancient glaciers, we’ll explore the harbor city of Bergen. In this UNESCO World Heritage area, we’ll wander through a town reminiscent of a 64-pack of Crayola crayons and stroll through forests full of trolls. Along Sognefjord, Norway’s deepest and longest fjord, we’ll kayak and hike, taking in villages hidden among the majestic cliffs. Finally, we’ll finish our Norse adventure with a round of aquavit at one of the country’s most renowned brewpubs.

Waka waka – it’s time for Africa! This trip has it all: animal butts, dik-diks, and amazing tinder photo opps of you getting chased by a hippo. You want adventure, check. You want nature, check. You’re open to eating a freshly killed goat roasted over an open fire in the middle of the Serengeti, check. Do you prefer the mountains or beaches? Doesn’t matter we’ll give you both. I bet we even learn what tik-tok is by then and go viral.
You smell that? That’s cinnamon from Zanzibar’s spice farms. After this trip, you’ll be able to tell your classmates what a cinnamon tree looks like. You can brag about the bad and boujee white-sand beaches you visited, show photos from inside the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera (what?), and regale how you hiked (next to) Mt. Kilimanjaro. Together we’ll learn to pronounce Ngorongoro while choosing the best dik-dik pics. We’ll watch sunsets while indulging in some of the finest wines and delectable beers that Tanzania has to offer. At the end, you’ll have a whole new group of besties and a whole lot of photos. Get ready for a trip with a great balance of activity, relaxation, nightlife, and empanadas. Explore the beautiful Galapagos Islands and then spend a couple relaxing days on the beach in Montanita.
This trek will cover the full spectrum of history, culture, and fun as we eat and drink (let’s be real, mostly drink) our way around all of the mountains and bays Serbia and Montenegro have to offer.
We’ll start out in Belgrade and cruise along the riverside restaurants and casinos as Beerfest comes to a close. To walk off all that delicious food, we’ll head to Djerdap National Park for some hiking and taking in the views. Then, we’ll kick off our time in Montenegro via wineries situated in 300-year old taverns before gearing up for our beach party on Budva’s coastline. We’ll see UNESCO heritage sites, soak up the sun and party on a catamaran.
Calling all foodies, explorers, and brilliant thinkers who want to be Brazilian drinkers! Your soon-to-be favorite gang of Rossers is headed to Brazil, and we want you to come with us! Should you accept, you’ll join a squad of fun-loving and goofy leaders who bonded over their trip last year, and are determined to lead the best MTrek yet!
We kick off in Sao Paulo, where we’ll quickly become the best of paulos… ok, maybe that’s enough puns for now. We’ll immerse ourselves in Brazilian culture through guided tours of the city, nightlife, and a competition to be the loudest fans at a Brazilian futbol game! Because we’re both nautical and nice, we’re heading to the beaches of Búzios, a coastal community outside of Rio, to relax under the Brazilian sun. Activities include beach-hopping on a private boat and a trip to one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world! Finally, we trade boats for caipirinha boat races in Rio de Janeiro! We’ll need some redemption after that first night out in Rio, so get that selfie-stick ready for one of the seven wonders of the world: Christ the Redeemer. The trip concludes with so many awesome activities it’s hard to list them all, but expect food tours, cooking classes, hikes, shows, and a Carnival dance experience with costumes and Samba!
Doesn’t that sound incredible? Rhetorical question, we know it does. Fair warning though: we’re balancing lots of activities so if you’re expecting a low-key week of R&R or a week-long rager until the sun rises, steer clear. But if you want a truly authentic and life-changing start to your business school experience, we’ll see you in Sao Paulo.
Every other MTrek will claim to be the most fun and have the best crew… but we can prove it. Beaches, boats, and bars – any MTrek can do that (and c’mon everyone’s already been to Croatia, Greece, and Spain). We’ll be taking it to the next level by raging through the Albanian Riviera and home of Casino Royale (Montenegro) where we will enjoy bottle service on the beach, explore Montenegro’s finest vineyards, speedboat through war tunnels, and get Medieval shooting archery in the mountains. Between Top Hill (former #1 nightclub in the world), city and food tours, and national park adventures, you’ll have a wild time and experience just enough culture. Our trip tearing up the coast will culminate in the biggest, multi-trek, private catamaran party of MTrek 2020!
